As far as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with business systems — so much that my childhood Lego towns had passports, currencies, banks, and even compulsory calories per minifigure (yeah, to stimulate consumer spending!). There were websites, videos, and stories for each country. One of my Lego videos even got nearly 200,000 views on YouTube: watch here. My brother occasionally agreed to run his own Lego shops so I could compete.
At the same time, I jumped into science olympiads — many national ones in Lithuania, and three international competitions (IJSO 2012, IJSO 2013, IPhO 2015). Medals were fun, but the real highlight was meeting people smarter than me. Later, many went on to Oxbridge or the US. While, I got my Master’s in Chemical Physics from the University of Edinburgh, I still keep learning from people who are smarter than me (see the blog below).
After my studies, I incorporated my tutoring company and dove headfirst into every aspect of digital business: SEO, vertical videos, paid ads, video production, podcasting, promoting, networking, legal stuff (contracts, NDAs, privacy policies), productivity tools, programming, APIs, sales, recruiting, and more. At some point, I was even selling teaching resources, digital business cards, and web development services.
Now, when I speak to others, I notice I often have something to add to the conversation. Doesn’t mean I can help everyone, but if you are struggling with business strategy, send me a message: 07-wipers.lettuce@icloud.com
